Today Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin together with French Prime Minister François Fillon opened the Russian national exhibition in Paris.

The exhibition takes place at the Grand Palais (almost 77,000 square metres) and has become one of the most important events of the Russia-France Cross Year.

A wide range of innovations are presented by the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roskosmos), the Irkut, Sukhoi, Russian Helicopters, Rostekhnologii and AvtoVAZ.

Vladimir Putin and Francois Fillon inspected the exhibition and also attended the signing of an agreement between the Russian Aviation Union and GIFAS, the French Aerospace Industries Association.

The two prime ministers also visited the exhibit of truck maker Kamaz, which includes the winning team truck from the Dakar Series Silk Way 2009 rally, Kamaz-Master.

For Baeren team Russian National Exhibition was a big event as well. One month of preparations and intensive work. Challenging and exciting.
