World Economic Forum 2012 and 2013


The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a Swiss non-profit foundation, based in Cologny, Geneva. It describes itself as an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. The Forum is best known for its annual meeting in Davos, a mountain resort in Graubünden, in the eastern Alps region of Switzerland. The meeting brings together some 2,500 top business leaders, international political leaders, selected intellectuals and journalists to discuss the most pressing issues facing the world, including health and the environment. The 2012 meeting was held on 25–29 January 2012, with the theme "The Great Transformation: Shaping New Models". From 23rd to 27th January 2013 the World Economic Forum (WEF) has its annual conference at Davos. Approximately more than 2,000 international representatives from economy, politics, science, NGOs and media are expected to attend the 43rd conference. With the focus “Resilient Dynamism” the WEF will offer numerous events concerning the challenges of economic adaptation processes and will present chances for transformation. The annual meeting of the WEF in Davos is worldwide unique because its considerably possibilities of casual meetings in a protocol free atmosphere, which offer another frame for open discussions. Here, beyond the official agenda, useful and essential contacts originate between politics, science and international organizations as well as commercial partnerships, that otherwise could hardly be established at current discussions in such a close proximity. As shown by the very popular Open Forum or events of the participation universities, companies and institutions, the direct and personal contact at the numerous events besides the World Economic Forum Davos cannot be replaced by recent communication technologies. Third year Baeren team arranges the event Sberbank night for Sberbank (Russia) in a framework of World Economic Forum. This year the event concept was realized in the unique art design, the main motive of which were the paintings of the russian avantgardists and impressionists Kasimir Malevich and Kusma Petrov-Vodkin. The atmosphere of this concept was supported by the thematical programm, in which took part the famous and unknown talents - Pjotr Dranga, Andrej Serov with his project "Glass Balance", Elmira Kalimullina and Illusionist Sergej Listopad.

Baeren team issued the hotel hall, provided audio and video equipment, made content for video screen.

Also this year Baeren issued the tent Russian House - 350 sq m, in which different representatives of business circles from Russia carred out their meetings:

-EN PLUS: the concert and meeting, on which Russia's Premier Minister Dmitrij Medvedev took part;

- RFPI: the meeting;

- PWC: the breakfast and presentation;

- The Resorts Of North Kaukasus: the meeting and concert;

- the opening: the meeting and concert of russian rock band "Leningrad".

Baeren team issued the interior, provided the furniture and light equipment.
